Technically
speaking, herbals contain no actual tea and so the term infusion or
tisane would be more correct. For thousands of years people have consumed
herbs for their healing or health maintenance properties. Today, flowers,
fruits, leaves, bark, roots, seeds and even nuts are also combined to
create wonderful and exotic tasting drinks. Most herbals have little
or no caffeine. Some may have an acquired taste while others are easily
enjoyed.
