This is an automated system of energy resource accounting (electricity, water, gas etc.) at industrial enterprises of any field or scale. The main purpose of the program package is gathering integral figures from accounting devices (sensors, counters, controllers etc.), controlling figures in real-time operation mode, as well analysis and commercial accounting of energy supply consumption (generation). The system is organized based on «client - server» principle. This provides an enterprise with a possibility to arrange any necessary number of workstations, and to connect geographically separated departments of the enterprise. The Server part executes information gathering and processing, while the Client allows users to operate the system and carry out necessary functions.

Existing lines of communication between the system server and account devices (local, dial-up or radio lines) are used for automatic data gathering. Special protocols, supported by such devices, were developed for this purpose. Automatic data gathering is carried out according to schedule or upon user’s request. There is also a manual mode, in which data are typed in and corrected by an operator.

Graphing facilities available in the system, provide a fast graphical representation of operations data. Control of current electricity consumption figures, as well as long-term analysis based on the data gathered, assist company controllers in analysis of the situation and swift decision-making.

Report documentation is formed on the basis of templates, design and contents of which are determined by the user. Templates can be easily developed in MS Excel, which allows to realize almost any requirements towards the appearance of reports.

A user-friendly settings system allows to configure the structure of enterprise and its points of accounting, to set parameters for interaction with different accounting devices, as well as many other parameters, which are necessary for the functioning of the system.

Role user authentication is provided in the system to protect information. Permissions to use certain system functions, set for each user, allow to distribute responsibilities.
